Very nice place to stay. Walking trail below the property was very nice, we were able to walk pretty much everywhere in town. Very nice and peaceful place to stay.

The room was just about perfect for what we were looking for. Nice kitchenette, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and this was a very nice location for the walk on the path into town. Only 10 minutes and we were in the midst of the restaurants and also the boat tour and ferry to Madeline Island.

Loved the lake view and access to a trail that led into town or around the lake in the opposite direction. The room was cute and super-clean. No contact check in/check out made for easy arrival and leaving.

The location was great. Within a long walk to the downtown shops. The room was ok, recently updated but had some quirks. Dor example the doors only had one bathroom-style lock. No secondary locks or chains usually found on all other hotel doors. It also lacked a peep hole to see who was at the door. Kinda strange from my experience but might be worrisome to a solo or woman traveller. No deductions forbthat but just wanted to note it. My only con were the inflated prices. It calls itself a Motel and as such I rate it pretty high. My friend stayed in the same type room 3 weeks earlier and was charged in the low $100 per night. I arrived during peak leaf color time and my room was $305 excluding tax. I expected higher prices but that much for this room borders on price gouging. But, I excepted that and paid.

The resort was clean and nicely updated however for $260 per night , I would have expected much more. The bed was a small queen that was very uncomfortable built on the with pillows that were flat and hard.

Simple accommodations with attention to occupants’ needs. Has microwave, coffeemaker and small fridge. Tiny but nice bathroom. What made this stay was the view of the lake and the walking trail behind as well as the foliage and convenience to dining. Beautiful setting

Beautiful escape on Bayfield

What a beautiful escape on Bayfield. My husband and I spent our days hiking, exploring the town and checking out the local ciders. It was nice to come back to an air conditioned room to relax and clean up. Highly recommend and we will.be back

My husband and I wanted a place to stay that was walkable to the shops in Bayfield. All the reviews indicated cleanliness, however, this place was really clean! Comfortable bed and easy walk to town. Our room was updated and really cute. There are no frills here-but if you’re looking for a convenient, Clean place to stay, this is it.
