"We had a king with patio side sea view. Room was spacious. Linens were great. Lots of extra touches in the honor bar. Very comfortable. Pool was nice and fire pit in the evening was cozy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Cookies in the evening and coffee in the morning in the reception. Basic but extremely comfortable and for the price very reasonable. We will definitely stay again."

"Bathroom door only opened 1/3 of the way then hits toilet. Can’t even stand at sink and bend over to brush teeth bad bad bad design. I had to ask them to remove the door while I stayed there. Room not clean at all. Used bandaids in bathroom."

"Everything was great. Only one thing that could be improved was the shower water pressure, which was pretty weak"

"The room is clean but the carpet needs to be cleaned. It was somewhat sticky and stained. The shower door doesn’t close well because the water spills out creating a puddle in the bathroom floor. The AC was very noisy. The closet cheap wood was chipping off. I don’t know why is my room or the building the farthest from the street is ocean view when the view is blocked by a lot of trees and scrubs. Overall the place needs work-maintenance and upgrades. It needs to be updated. Oh yeah, no...

"Anderson is such a gracious host! My wife and I look forward to our next stay at The Tides in Laguna Beach."

"Property was well maintained. The rooms were nice and spacious. The breakfast had a great variety."

"hotel was nice"

"Clean and pleasant stay"

"The room was clean and everything was available"

"The room was great, clean, good bed, recently redone. Staff were helpful. The hotel must be under new management, as the outside looks a little rough but the room itself was great. We had an extended stay, good base for lots of activities."

"All Staff were so helpful, welcoming, and kept life easy staying away from home. Thank You all. Beach View Loft with Bed facing Sunsets was a great way to finish our nights. Such a memorable place."

"Location!+++. On the beach,by the pier, lots of beachfront restaurants. Lots of street activity until about 11 pm. On the long beachfront walkway. Staff very friendly and helpful. The place had unique historic character decor. Comfy bed. The only suggestion is the continental breakfast would have been lovely to have the Dory Bakery pastries next door instead of store bread and bagels."

"This is best place by far to stay old school charm went for are Anniversary would go back."
