"Friendly helpful staff, comfy bed (but pillows a bit hard), very good breakfast but other guests walking past or above our room made a bit of a noise. Overall a good stay and a good breakfast."

"This a terrific hotel in the heart of the Gateshead countryside. The staff are extremely efficient and very helpful to make stay the best experience ever. The restaurant food is of a very high standard, never a bad meal yet. The only negative is that GPS systems for one reason or another can not find location. So we eventually found that if you input North Rise, it will take right to the Bowes Incline Hotel, —- go figure ! Great stay."

"Lovely stay with great staff and service. Really good breakfast. When it says the bed is a double it means a double. Bear that in mind if you are used to a King or Queen sized bed! Would quite happily stay here again"

"I had a great time here and felt like I was at home not in a hotel. It had everything I needed and was close to the beach. They were so friendly and happy to help me find my way around the area. Breakfast was amazing too, so many options. All for a much better price than staying in central Newcastle which is easily reached by the metro a short walk down the road. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs. We were at the front of the building right above the hotel bar and both Friday and Saturday night I struggled to sleep til the partygoers left at midnight. I had the windows shut and the blinds...

"Excellent for a one night stay, however the door of the pub is loud. The bed is very comfy."
