There was no towel service which was fine but other people from my class who stayed right next store on both sides had towel service, but they must have had a different type of service. "I had an exceptional stay at the condo on Portage Lake. The condo was clean as a whistle and had everything I needed and more. The furnishings and appliances are updated and like brand new. The view of the lake was incredible. The amenities of the resort were also outstanding..... the pool is great and relaxing in the lounge chairs by the pool overlooking the lake was awesome. The mornings were cool and the days were warm. No air conditioning or heat was needed during my stay. Having the sliding...

"We have stayed in this unit twice now for our annual New Year’s trip. It’s an easy drive to Caberfae Peaks for skiing and snowboarding. The unit is clean and comfortable for our family of four. This year our daughter forgot some things that she had set aside for the the ride home. We were contacted immediately. The person cleaning the unit was pleasant and incredibly helpful. She dropped the items off at our friend’s house so we didn’t have to turn around. Communication with the owner is easy...

"We stayed a couple of nights over Easter and it was a nice, relaxing getaway. It wasn’t busy even though it was spring break. The indoor pool was great. Plenty of room in the condo for all four of us. Had all the essentials in the kitchen to cook an Easter dinner. Did an egg hunt in front of the condo for the kids. Condo was truly a home away from home!"

"The property was just as described online. The chalet was just a short walk across the street to Kinlochen and the Buck lift. It was clean and the heat worked great for us. The only suggestions I would make for the management company is to get updated pans to cook with that don't stick, and a new keypad for the main entry door. Having to punch in 10 numbers just to get inside was a bit much. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay!!"

We also hit Grand Haven, Holland and Saugatuk. Home base in Manistee was perfect. We enjoyed the downtown and the beautiful beach & sunsets. We will be back! Thank YOU!"

"Great lication! It's short drive to downtown Manistee or a short walk to the beach. The property was clean and well stocked. The dining window offered views of the harbor, flowers teeming with butterflies and an occasional hummingbird. Finally, we appreciated having access to both the indoor and outdoor pools."
