"The host was easy to work with and responsive. It was a beautiful, comfortable retreat for our family and dog. The game room was so much fun. The giant TV setup worked great for March Madness. The hot tub was the perfect temp and worked great. The kitchen had everything needed to cook great meals. The location was peaceful & quiet.The fireplace was very well designed & made a roaring fire. We will definitely be returning to this place!"

"This cabin is perfect for a family of 4-5. The updates throughout are thoughtful and comfy. If you’re a skier - I’m not LOL - you will appreciate the views of the slopes and the walking distance. And it was just a short drive to the Big Bear Blvd. when needing to pick up some last minute groceries, etc. Chris and Melanie were wonderful hosts and quick to respond to any questions I had. "

"Overall I enjoyed my stay. The cabin was very conveniently located and in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was amazing. Just a few cons: When I arrived at about 9pm, it was 30 degrees outside and the heat in the cabin was off. I turned it on and it said the current temp in the cabin was 52 degrees and it took quite a while to warm up. The cleanliness inside the cabin was not great. There was a long black hair on the toilet seat and a discarded dried up contact lens on the nightstand in the main bedroom. It made me question if the cabin had been cleaned since the previous renters. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. "

"This is a lovely house, very close to Bear Mountain. The great room is perfect for group activities and the hot tub was much appreciated after skiing. There are some things that could use updating (the glasswear, a few lightbulbs, etc) but it's very homey and comfortable."

"We appreciated the good communication about our stay. The cabin was so beautiful! It was very nicely furnished and comfortable. The shuffle board was an excellent amenity. The kitchen was so large and open, but the wood-burning fireplace was a selling feature--our brother requested that in particular to celebrate his 70th birthday and we all really enjoyed it! We also really enjoyed the unobstructed view out the back--gorgeous!"
