"Well this was the 2nd time we have stayed here. This time we had a bigger room, it was nice and clean. It was nice to have a wall mounted fan, just what we needed in this heat wave. The staff were very polite from when we turned up and sign in. The answered all our questions without thinking about it. Great room service, ring through to reception and drinks were brought to the room with in 5 minutes. Had a great meal in the bar,good selection of food. It was nice to have a good selection of drinks,it was great to get a pints of cider. We had the breakfast included,now that was great,you could have a full English breakfast, pastries, cereal and plenty of fruit. The waiting staff were very polite from welcoming us to asking what we would like to drink, nothing was to much 10/10. No parking needed arrived by train. The biggest pull to this hotel is being able to walk out the front door and straight on to Blackheath Common. That was one of the reason we go back, great walks and it doesn't feel like you are in London. All we can say is, it's been a fabulous weekend end away and we enjoyed everything we did over the 3 day's being there. If you want somewhere to stay in London away from all the madness stay here, railway station 5 minutes away."
