Peaks of Otter Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We had a very pleasant stay. The room was as described, we enjoyed the area and had a nice dinner at the lodge."

Bedford Motel

10/10 Excellent

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Storm Was Scary, but the Hospitality Was 5-Star! Let me tell you something about the Bedford Inn in Virginia! 😂 I was driving from New York back home to Texas after my father’s funeral, already emotionally exhausted and running on fumes. Then Mother Nature decided she wanted to participate in my road trip! It was nightfall, raining cats and dogs, and I couldn’t see five feet in front of me. At that point, I wasn’t sure if I was driving to Texas or straight into the pearly gates! 😭😂 Needless to say, I decided it was time to call it a night! Enter the Bedford Inn. This quaint little hotel has that old-school charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into a simpler time. But the real gem was the owner, Jodi who was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. After the kind of day I’d had, that little bit of human kindness meant more than words can explain. The owner made me feel comfortable, put my fears to rest, and gave me peace of mind when I desperately needed it. I arrived looking like a woman who had survived Noah’s Ark, the Great Flood, and a personal battle with Google Maps all in one evening! 🤣🌧️ But I left feeling safe, welcomed, and grateful."

Unique Historical log cabin with private beach and 300 ft. of waterfrontage.

10/10 Excellent

"The log cabin was even nicer than shown in the listing and the property offers a true relaxing stay with extensive water frontage. We loved the porch facing the water and truly powered down from everything! The owners could not have been nicer, very responsive and we would return here in a heartbeat!Sincerely,Jenny and J.C."

Firefly Estate, Lakefront Luxury w/ Covered Verandas + Heated Salt Pool, Hot Tub, Dock!

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful time. The home was not only beautiful but perfectly thought out floor plan for entertaining and fun. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. Due to the recent drought the lake was low and the dock was not usable. However the marina is 3 minutes drive away and saved the day. We were able to dock there and family could trade off and on the boat for tubing because the proximity to the house. We would definitely stay here again."
