"Window did not lock, no smoke detector, bed skirt dirty (spilled fluids on floor splashed and it was never cleaned,) no toilet paper, had to get more from office. Bed linens quite possibly were not changed, just the bed was remade for the next guest, one working electrical outlet between the beds, no bulbs in two lamps, no trim on bathroom floor so big gaps along the walls (very unsightly.) Overall would only stay here if it was last resort to the car in the gas station parking lot, or on a fishing trip with the guys. Wife slept in her sweat pants on top of the bed linens with her travel blanket and hoodie."

"We had a wonderful time celebrating our VT grad for the weekend. The house was stocked with everything we needed with plenty of room for the family and friends to enjoy each other's company. The pool was a hit as well as the hot tub. The lake is low but that is due to the draught we are in and is not a reflection of the host and house. The only downside is the driveway is VERY steep and with a few family members who are struggle with mobility, it was difficult. We loved the wildlife we could watch from inside house and outside in the pool!Thanks for a wonderful weekend and helping us celebrate our grad!"

"Beautiful location on Smith Mountain Lake! Communication with our host was excellent. Our host generously left our daughter graduation balloons, chocolates and champagne for all of us to celebrate the occasion. The townhome was very clean and we appreciated having some shampoo, soap and other essentials. Thank you Alla for your hospitality."

"All-around relaxing location. The home was very clean, spacious, very well taken care of. We met the host, and he was kind, knowledgeable of the history of the area, and helped us get our luggage to the car!We would love to stay again if we're ever back in this general area!"

"The condo was such a great getaway! The lake view was beautiful and peaceful (can watch the sunrise over the lake from the condo). The condo is well stocked with dishes and kitchen supplies, so it’s easy to stay in and make meals. We loved our stay!"

"We had an amazing stay at this lake house! It was incredibly roomy and one of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed. Everything was very clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day on the lake. The glass great room was absolutely exceptional — the views and natural light made it our favorite spot in the house. We stayed for a week and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this beautiful lake house!"
