The Promissory Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed four nights at the Promissory. I appreciated that they let me check in extra early, and that they didn't charge for my son to stay on the sofa bed. The rooms are very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Excellent service from the front desk staff. The parking is close by and reasonably priced. The brunch at Suerte was tasty, but took a bit long to prepare. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. The only negative for us was late-night noise from the alley behind Sidewinders. We're light sleepers, and we'd wake up when they throw out their trash and bottles at 2:30 am. I'd stay at the hotel again, but I'd request a different room."

"staff very nice and helpful. good amenities. pool was a bit chilly but like most, once you were in, it was perfectly fine. granddaughter loved it! good selection of breakfast and it was a clean and very nice hotel. overall, very good place to stay!"

"Had a great overnight stay .arrived very late after VT/Pitt game. Comfortable room, great shower, room was clean and tidy. Didn't partake in breakfast offered but it looked well stocked and fresh."
