Cottages in Bedfordshire

"Me my daughter and her mom stayed here. It was exactly as pictures showed. Spacious, good kitchen, very equipped(even had a pizza cutter) It was such a historic feel, staying in a home/cottage built so long ago. Rough sawn lumber, the thatch style roof. So fun. We stayed from USA, so we rented a car for the country. For our city days, the train station was 10-15 minutes away, and got us to downtown quicker than driving. I would recommend checking out bus routes and train routes before traveling,...

"Family of five stayed for a birthday weekend. Beautiful homely spacious cottage, perfect for a group or family. Ensuite bathrooms ensured everyone had space & privacy. The garden is perfect for relaxing & games room brought the family together for valuable social time. It is beside a busy A road, so not exactly quiet. So not ideal for a light sleeper. The lakes were not accessible on foot so a drive into St Neots, to the park, river, pubs, shops & cafes was ideal."

"we were re-imbursed the cleaning money. The property was disgusting. Hair in beds, foot particles on range, on kitchen floor and dinning area. The condition of the property was more in tune with a hostel rather than a house for a family. The list of things that need to be fixed is to long. From patio doors that didn't close to stair banister hanging off the wall. There was only 1/4 toilet roll in the house for two toilets. We had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in the beds."
