"Property was ideal size and location was good. Under the impression i was able to park in the land next to the property but was told off by another resident. Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. Shower had mould around grouting of tiles and needs bringing up-to date. Mattress - springs broken and had a dip did not sleep much. Extractor needs a good clean can see grease on top. Need...

"I don’t know where to begin. I’ll start with the thing that hit us first…. The smell of cannabis! The whole house stunk of canabis! We opened all the upstairs windows & it made no difference. The house got double booked so we had 2 women & a bloke banging the door, who threatened to put all the windows through & my car windows before I said “please don’t, that’s my car!” Ants on the kitchen work surfaces. "The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? "Beautiful and peaceful property tucked away in the hills on the edge of a town with hundreds of years of history. An hour from London or less. Clean and comfortable living and kitchen area, comfy beds, great showers. Friendly hosts who are available if needed. We very much enjoyed our stay there and the wildlife, and the great play area with swings for children."

"The property was clean and adequate for our needs for 2 nights but we felt that some updating and repairs to the property were required. The major problem was the awful noise in the evenings from some of the neighbors and children which made it impossible to sit outside. No consideration for others until 11pm. "The beds were extremely clean and very comfortable. The hosts were really welcoming and helpful. The house was clean and warm. I would recommend that more blinds or curtains are placed on windows (upstairs hallway, bathroom) and some plumbing fixtures need attention (bath, downstairs toilet flush). Also, I was taken by surprise by the constant visitors in the back garden, where clean sheets for other houses are stored. They would let themselves in, without notice, right outside the patio doors....

Instructions sent on time so there was no entry hussle and a guide folder with easy to understand instructions on how to use everything within the house. The house was very clean as well, smelt lovely and the back garden... So calming. It was definitely a home away from home experience. Definitely our main go to any time we come to visit the UK."
