I have never been received so warmly at any hotel in my entire life of travels. I wish I could remember the young ladies name who checked us in. She was so helpful and went out of her way to receive us. She literally followed me out to the car to take our luggage in, she stored it until our room was ready and when we returned everything was in our room. It was so nice to have off street parking as cars were sometimes triple parked on the street. It was a very large and comfortable apartment in easy walking distance to a bus stop into the city and a grocery store. We enjoyed our stay.

We toured the UK and this was the best hotel by far. I loved everything about it. Nice, small apartment with everything you need. Responsive on-site service. Very friendly and clean. I wish there were more of these all over the UK.

We loved this B and B because it was not your typical close to the city location. It was about 20 minutes outside of Belfast but being out in the country gave us a glimpse of a different Irish lifestyle. The location was spacious, the hosts very professional, our room had a wonderful queen bed and a huge bathtub which we enjoyed. (the only one we saw while in Ireland) It was a relaxing change of pace and we enjoyed eating in the smaller country towns in the local pubs.

Clean room, the staff there are wonderful; they genuinely make me feel welcomed and at home, which means a lot to me.

What a wonderful stop on our trip! The property was beautiful and Edele and Alessio were so attentive to our needs. Hands down, the best hotel experience we’ve had, including stays at boutique design hotels. Second Nature understands the actual needs of travelers and has built a bespoke and accommodating stay that meets you where you’re at. The Merchant Hotel was a bank in its previous life. As a former banker myself, I enjoyed hearing about it’s history, and seeing how beautifully it has been converted to its present use. Magnificent!
