"Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back "

"There are no words for this place. The food was amazing and the resort is beautiful. Everyone made the trip unforgettable. Melanie was so incredible even before i arrived. The mood mud massage was the most unique spa treatment ever. Do not pass that up. Every detail was perfect. We literally never wanted to leave.. they dont treat you like a guest. "You can’t go wrong with Phoenix. What a great place to stay. Staff is excellent, on site food is delicious, amenities are top-notch and location is perfect. The best part, we were not treated like Expedia guests (which happened last year in Roatan). The place is great and staying anywhere else is just wrong. "

"We felt so welcome and pampered at this gorgeous resort. We were greeted and helped with our luggage, the Staff took care of our meal orders , grabbed extra towels for our excursion, made beautiful drinks. The rooms had a lovely view of the river and the sound lulled us to sleep. Gorgeous spot!"
