"Colonial Inn is a good budget friendly option for those not wanting to pay $150+ a night for a hotel. If looking for a simple place to sleep and shower that is well maintained and clean, this is a good choice. A bonus is there is a Dunkin, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Target, and many other stores very close to the Inn. Also it’s near the freeway and only a 10-15 minute drive to Providence. My only complaint based on two different interactions is the staff working the front desk could be more...

"Very decent for a good night sleep. Not many amenities- nowhere to get snacks, coffee, etc. Just very basic, but the basics were quite nice! The elevator is very old-fashioned and has the metal grates on it; I thought it was awesome! Still, location was great but I expected a little more for the price we paid. Hopefully when they are done with the remodeling it will be better equipped with conveniences. Staff was amazing! I'd stay here again if I found myself in Providence, but I'd know to come...

"The property is aging but nicely kept. It is tucked in behind a busy thoroughfare (shielding it from the traffic noise). You can tell they take the time to repair the facility rather than let it crumble, which is how they manage to keep their nightly rate below most in the area. While not the fanciest, when you turn out the light at night it’s as good as a room twice its price. Thanks for a pleasant stay!"
