"The staff was friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was great and the staff did an amazing job keeping up with a very busy breakfast time with a college football team staying onsite along with the rest of us. (All were friendly) The negatives: the pool was closed to access - not sure why , no reason it seemed to be working access and this was a huge disappointment to me and my niece staying with me. That happens sometimes, but the REAL issue is the musty smell and smell of smoke all throughout the halls/lobby and each time the a/c in the room cut off and on we would get a wafting smell of cigarette smoke in nonsmoking room sections. It nauseated me, but I am so glad my husband did not come along he is highly allergic and would not have been able to stay. The good news about the lobby is the morning time when breakfast was served the aroma of breakfast (pleasing) covered up the smoky/musty smell we smelled the night before when checking in. AGAIN the staff were all friendly and helpful . SMELLS are a big deal in the hospitality industry the pool thing is an inconvenience, but a disappointment, but not a real reason to decrease stars It is truly the odor."

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was comfortable, and everything I needed was readily available. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay here again."

"Wonderful property with many activities on site. Fishing, kayaking, basketball, ping pong, puzzles, games, everyone had a great time. Well appointed and very comfortable. Host was easy to work with and responsive. A short drive to downtown with lots of cute shops and historical sites. We had a great family get-together!"

"We had an absolutely phenomenal stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Our four boys (ages 10, 9, 8, and 6) had an absolute blast and stayed entertained the entire trip.The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and everything smelled so fresh and clean. It truly felt like a home away from home. We appreciated how welcoming and relaxing the space was.This was the perfect place for our family getaway and to celebrate our son’s birthday. We made so many wonderful memories here and WILL be booking again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, AFFORDABLE and family-friendly stay!"

"We loved the character of the property. It was literally the barn! Bed and shower was clean. However, the cobwebs and spiderwebs were everywhere!!! We had spiders crawling on us at night and in the bed. The windowsills and ceilings need a good cleaning. Set up was real cute and cozy. We literally did nothing! Just rested, relaxed and reconnected. It definitely did for us exactly what we were hoping for."
