"Our room was clean and comfortable. The dark out screen in our room had tears that allowed light in to my room. I used an eye mask. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed it. The staff member in the breakfast area was very helpful and you could tell she took pride in her work. On the downside someone brought a dog in to the food area. I love dogs but they don’t belong there if they aren’t a service dog for the blind.No one wants dog hair in their food."

The Lake view from both the porch and the dock were stunning! The Sunset Lodge is number one on our list of places to stay the next time we vacation in Texas! "We went for a four night stay. Check-in was seamless, hosts were very very attentive. The home was extremely comfortable, very clean and modern with a country feel. The place was very quiet, secluded and relaxing! Just a few minutes outside of Mineola and close to 30 minutes from Tyler. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!"

"A few items we noticed:A /C could not be adjusted, no up, no down, no off. Pretty cold in the evening.Kitchen rugs slide badly, need something to secure them in place.Door handle on bathroom in master needs to be attached.Everything else was nice, and worked well.Kind regards"

"My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and we had a great time! The cabin had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The kayaks were so much fun and we were able to go out and explore the lake. Caught a catfish and a few other small fish. The hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. Thank you for a great stay!"
