"Outdated . Restaurant food sub-par . Lots of mosquitoes because it’s right off the lake. Lawns needed mowed. Room very outdated"

"When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness. We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and dinner was great."

"Beds were terribly uncomfortable. Hot tub could have been cleaner. Couch was uncomfortable and had tv in a strange place for living room . The Badget Playhouse had a show 2 of the nights and music was so loud insided the cabin we couldn't sleep. Booked through Hotels.com and the Outpost tried to tell us we only paid for 2 nights when it was 3. Walked into our room unexpectedly. Error on them and through expedia and finally got resolved after an hour of trying to prove what was booked and paid for. Will not be back and would not recomend if you are looking for a comfortable weekend getaway."

"Even though we really needed to cancel for Dr's visits, we got everything rescheduled and went on our trip. We really enjoyed it. People just need to understand their cancellation policy. Other than that, it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, and the people were really kind. Everything was spotless. We will definitely go back."

Condo on the Water with a Dock on Kentucky Lake

"We loved being right on the water. We fished off the dock and used the provided kayaks. We were close to a marina to put in our boat, close to restaurants and shops as well. We ordered pizza from a shop a mile away and had dinner on the patio overlooking the lake. Everyone slept well and enjoyed the accommodations!"

"Needs a lot of upgrades and improvements. The bathroom in our room especially needs a lot of work. Rust, stains, spots, bad grout, etc. Ants all around the outside of the property. Breakfast could use a few more options as well. Front desk person was nice though."

"The house was perfect ! Much roomier than we expected ! Spotlessly clean ! The host was amazing !! The gas for the outdoor grill ran out & we texted him & he brought another tank within minutes ! We ate most of our meals on the covered front porch over looking the lake so relaxing . Before we even there a day my husband was already planning a fishing trip for next year We can't wait to stay at this property again !!"
