"Our family used it for a stop over for one night, but with how much there is at the hotel I kinda wish I stayed for two. There is construction going on with the tree houses being built which looking at the direction they face, they will have a fantastic view of the lake. "The location is excellent — all within walking distance to the train, downtown shops and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The downside was in the suite we had limited showering privacy, no temperature control in the room (rectified by staff providing a portable heater). The suite we were in had high walls, cement ceiling, and no softness to absorb sounds from other guests. A gentleman in one of the rooms either above, below or beside was on a telephone call that lasted until 2:00 am — he was using a normal tone of voice, but we could hear him. The front desk response in the morning was that we should have called down to them (hindsight); but, we actually didn’t know where to say the voice was coming from. Otherwise our 6 night stay was good to excellent."
