"The hotel itself was not bad on the inside, other than our room. Looked like housekeeping stopped in the middle of cleaning before we checked in, though it was not bad enough to request a different room. As far as the area it is in, I did not do my research and did not realize it was next to a bus station. And the immediate surrounding area was pretty sketchy. However, we had no issues and was able to drive around and find nicer areas to eat/hang out. Albany overall seemed to have bad areas mixed right in with the good ones. Again, had no issues."
