I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go. This is one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed at. The outside is a small unassuming alley, but open the door and a beautifully constructed hotel. The decor is simultaneously modern and classic all at once, and the rooms are clean, modern, roomy, with great amenities. Staff were very courteous and helpful, and gave me a tour of the hotel before walking me to my room and going through it's features. It is my second stay at this hotel because the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property is very conveniently located across the central station so you can drop off my luggage right away and go into the town even if you arrive before 3 pm check in time. A perfect location when you are traveling by train.
