"Staff at the property is disgusting, rude, show obscene signs. This is obscene behavior is shown by the kitchen cooks, servers and night shift desk clerk. They are very upset on the fact, guests coming from abroad spending whole day in visiting sites. I had cancelled my stay at the property after tolerating this abuse for three days. Property is old and not not kept clean either. Will not recommend this place if they charge more than $10/nignt. "

"I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. As a solo woman traveler safety is my number one concern and I felt incredibly safe here. The property is extremely clean. The staff is wonder and your host Ganesh and Saroj are wonderful and will ensure you have a pleasant stay- along with the rest of the staff. This is definitely an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Thamel, Kathmandu! "

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. "Very well maintained property. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Only issue was at check-in. I had reserved a room for a half day as my flight left in the evening. I had my text message from the hotel stating it would be $50 extra which I agreed to. Lady at the desk had to see the text. Take a screen shot and make a phone call to get approval. Rest of the stay was fine."

"I appreciated the improvements to the rooms I stayed in, compared to past trips. This included such things as better lighting, or better shower layout. Location is fairly convenient to access all things in Thamel, and taxis were readily available at the hotel for daytime excursions. Breakfast was abundant, and staff were universally helpful and smiling. Their friendliness certainly enhanced the comfort and joy of my stay. I have stayed here multiple times in past years and would return!"

"The Nirvana Boutique Hotel is a little oasis in the middle the Thamel area of Kathmandu!! Their outdoor garden courtyard is the perfect place to relax with your meal or a drink after a busy day out! The staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful, friendly and warm! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! I would highly recommend the Nirvana Boutique hotel!! "
