The pool allowed us to cool off on hot days. Our hosts were wonderful. They made us feel welcome and cared for. It is obvious that they enjoy hosting and caring for people. "My family and I had such a great time. Such a kid friendly place and at check in they even had a little playground while you waiting and gave the kids bubbles. So great to be in nature and all of the amenities were lovely. The waterparks that were padded on the ground were genius and we did a family wine tasting which was such a lovely memory. Our stay was so nice with the deck and the grocery store is so affordable for dinners in. Love love love! My toddler played all day and there were so many times we got to relax because they had everything that we wanted or needed right on property."

"Beautiful property with priceless views. The on-site restaurant also offered a nice light lunch. The pool area could have been spruced up a bit with some better furniture, but the room was beautiful. Be careful when using the shower as well as it is easy for the water to spray onto the floor. Make sure you understand where the property is located before booking as it is quite a ways outside of Florence city center. I rented a car and drove through the Tuscan hills to arrive."

"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didn’t need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"An old-style Tuscan country estate with a peaceful atmosphere, attentive service, excellent breakfast.The surroundings are serene and picturesque， perfect for a quiet escape from the city. However, the room next door had poor sound insulation on the night I stayed, which slightly affected my sleep quality. The room and facilities are a bit dated, so travelers who prefer a more modern style may want to confirm their room type in advance."
