"We had such a lovely stay at Arrow Mill! I don’t write reviews but this place deserves it. The grounds are beautiful. The walk suggested on their website is perfect to walk off the massive, tasty breakfast they serve! Every member of staff was brilliant throughout our stay. The pub itself is lovely and very nicely decorated. In the evening, we were surprised with a singer and his a guitar who came in for entertainment for a couple of hours - he was excellent! The bedroom (superior room, room 1) - wow! It was absolutely immaculate and it was huge! The bath was a dream! The lounge, for residents only, was there for us to retire to when we wanted to chill at the end of the night with a bottle of wine and a board game. A nice touch and we were the only two in there, so it was very relaxing, and again, a beautifully decorated room to be in. The whole place was totally spotless, which given it’s a huge building is really impressive!! I actually couldn’t help but notice and think to myself just how clean it was, given the number of visitors, it being dog-friendly, etc, so kudos to the staff responsible for cleaning and maintaining everything! You are first class! Honestly, the whole stay was totally faultless. I’d love to go back - especially when the fishing season opens and we can fish on the river at the end of their garden! "

"Lily Pad was better than we expected . Looks much better than the photos. Bedroom and bathroom were fancy, heated towel rails and floor, very comfortable bed and setting on Avon was beautiful. Big kitchen with fully working appliances and heating. No problems at all with our stay."

"Communications before our stay were excellent. A very warm welcome awaited us us in a cold wet day. Check in was an easy process and everything was explained thoroughly. A really interesting hotel in a very historic building. Room was spacious and clean with an enormous bed. Good facilities in the room with a well stocked mini bar. Flowers ordered for arrival were fresh and vibrant in colour. Complementary cheese and wine were served in the covered courtyard. Very generous servings and a warm welcome from the staff. Dinner in the Tempest restaurant was great. Food was vey well presented and ideally portioned. Breakfast has many choices and again food is plentiful. Check out was swift and efficient. We will stay here again when in the Cotswolds"
