"The Del Rio location is very clean and the staff was exceptionally professional. This was my first trip to Del Rio and I had concerns on where I would stay. The Hampton Hilton was by far the BEST choice....."

"Friendly staff and updated lobby. The room was on the main floor and had only a thin rolling blind to cover the window. Light shone in all night into the room and there was no way to darken it. Also, the “suite” just had empty space and no chaise or relaxing furniture in the room. "

"I had a multi-night stay in Del Rio, and I decided to try the Whispering Palms because it had good reviews. It met my needs. The only negative was that the air conditioner was pretty good, but not great. I like it really cold when I sleep, and it didn't quite get there. But I realize I like it colder than most people, and it was comfortable enough, so this was at least as much about my personal preferences as the condition of the A/C. "Great stay! Clean room, simple layout, nothing fancy, and a great price! Walking distance to the mall and so many other places. No breakfast included but that’s ok because whataburger is next door. Great staff! Really helpful…our tv wasn’t working so they quickly moved us to another room. She even offered money back for the inconvenience. I’ve NEVER had a hotel do that ☺️. In this day of high inflation, I’ll gladly book this place all day every day."
