Big Bend Lodging at Ten Bits Ranch | Room #1 (The Bank)

Big Bend Lodging at Ten Bits Ranch | Room #1 (The Bank)

10/10 Excellent
"Please do not think twice about booking at the 10 Bits ranch! We had a fantastic stay. Everything was CLEAN and so cute. Looks like you are actually on an old western town set. We had everything we needed. We stayed in the bank. The views are breathtaking. The Apache Trail was just as cool as everything we saw and experienced in Big Bend! The Cantina had everything we could’ve needed had we wanted to cook our own meals. The stargazing is the best we’ve ever experienced. We had a rented minivan and had no trouble accessing the ranch. We brought our own sandwich and breakfast stuff. Wouldn’t recommend eating tacos in Terlingua High Sierra Bar & Grill- 100 for 4 small to go plates (no drinks). We much preferred The 10 bits ranch rooms- they have mini fridges, microwaves, plenty of towels. And you can also store food & cook in the Cantina. Print directions and anything you plan to do out ahead just like they suggest. We had NO SERVICE and we loved that!!!!! :)"

"If you want to see the night sky, this is the perfect place to stay! You can enjoy sitting on the patio to look at the stars. We also enjoyed watching a deer and bird eat from the buckets that were set out for the animals. The dirt road to get up the driveway was a little tricky for our minivan. We really enjoyed our trip to Big Bend and the barndominium worked out well for our family."

"The surrounding scenery was well worth everything else. It is a little overpriced, and the facilities are aging and show a little bit of where otherwise it was well kept and well-maintained. The staff were efficient at their jobs, but you could tell that you are nothing more than another visitor. Again, let me reemphasize, the surroundings make it worth it. Being are very expensive once you leave the civilized world so pack in your drinks and your food if possible. The beds were a little bit soft but functional."
