"No laundry detergent left by host, only one load of sheets cleaned. Accumulated trash from previous renters on site. Washer,dryer ( enormous towel load left in dryer), dishwasher not unloaded. Walk off mats at entry very dirty."

"From our first contact, Brandon, the owner, was most helpful in arranging our stay. Our room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were varied, customized to our tastes, and high quality. Brandon’s tips on what to see and do were tailored to our interests. After expressing our interest to visit a local museum that was closed, Brandon called the owner and arranged for the caretaker to let us in and give us an introduction to the history All the spaces in the Inn and surrounding garden were comfortable and offered a variety of things to do"

"Well stocked, great location, kid friendly!There were a lot of little perks including the popcorn, coffee (the Swiss-water decaf was an especially nice and unusual surprise), and the gift card (admittedly, it was to the owners’ own brewery/resto, but still a very nice touch).Huge kitchen and backyard, walkable to groceries and farmers market.We had a very pleasant stay. The house was great for our group with a number of different families and young children."

"We had a comfortable and amazing stay. The innkeeper was extremely knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions to make our stay exactly what we wanted . Breakfast was delicious and varied each day and included fresh local ingredients. The grounds were stunning and well cared for. And we were lucky to see the bittern one morning !! We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful B and B !"

"We happened to be there during the week between weddings so had the place mostly to ourselves. Lovely farm setting with vegetable gardens and chickens and pigs to wander among. There was a lovely watercolor painting exhibit in barn. Extensive trail system right behind the fields. Manager Stacy was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious. Very peaceful setting."

"What an incredible stay! We cannot recommend this place more. The location was beautiful, the space was adorable and roomy. Everyone we met were super friendly. All of the food establishments we tried were delicious and make sure to stop over at Emily’s Bar and Bistro- you’ll feel like you are on the set of “Cheers”"

"This antique house and property was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well equipped and along with the dining and living rooms were spacious and comfortable for meals and playing board games. Cable connectivity was good and we were able to easily watch the World Cup games. The backyard was perfect for lawn games, and the long views are incredible.We enjoyed our stay here very much! We have stayed in other places in Waitsfield and this house is perfect for our needs - easy biking, walking distance to the bridge to watch the jumpers, or just relax on the banks of the river. There are coffee shops, and boutique shopping and artisan studios within a five minute walking distance, and there is a beautiful park next to the library just a few doors down. Waitsfield Village is a charming and relaxing place to stay, and this home was lovely and comfortable to return to!"
