"Clean with decent breakfast. Hot water. Beautiful views on lake side. No restaurant or bar. Vending machines were not operational. Pool closed."

"The place was amazing!!! We are so thankful for the time we could spend at the island as a family. The kitchen was stocked so well that it made preparing food for our crew easy. The beach part was nice for our littles to play. The TV room was a fun get away area for our teens to hang out. The beds were comfortable enough. I was worried about the small cabin beds being comfortable - my young adult boys stayed there and said it was good. They enjoyed having that area so they could set up all their fishing gear. There were many areas to hang out in the cabin from the large kitchen table to the beautiful sun room to the screened porch. The boys loved the field area to play wiffle ball. We have no major complaints of this property and overall everything was as we expected or above! The caretaker Deb was so kind and extremely responsive to any questions we had. We plan to be back next year!"

"Cute place right off of the lake! Definitely ideal if you plan to do fishing in the area. Stayed for a weekend getaway and it was quiet minus the boat landing, the occasional train going by and general traffic. Overall inside was very cute and made it feel like a farmhouse cabin. Definitely would stay here again but this time I’m bringing more friends!"

Great Fishing, Gorgeous Views, Private Cabin on Pelican Lake

"My family of 4 had a great time here. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, the fishing was great (two largemouth bass over 3 lbs!), we saw bald eagles, loons, mink, Canadian geese, ducks and deer, and the location was perfect: close to town but very private. We never even saw a neighbor. The cabin itself was comfortable and there were so many little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable and showed how much the owners care. A soda stream machine, fire blankets just in case (may seem silly, but it made me feel like the owners have really taken the time to make sure everything is as safe as possible), wire baskets with battery operated lanterns next to each bed in the bunk room, games, a great booklet with all the information you might need about the house, the area, the best local places to eat and more. They even had a book about the local history and another dedicated to tying fishing knots. It was our favorite lake house rental!"
