"We stayed one night on our way to the Oregon coast. The staff was very friendly, the price was great, and our room worked perfect for the night there. Their restaurant on site was also very good! Good enough we stopped back for dinner on our way back through. It was a great spot and gave us good early morning access to the Columbia River gorge waterfalls. We will definitely keep this as an option for our next trip to the coast."

"Beautiful location with wonderful view of the river. Grounds are gorgeous with flowers, wedding venue, and pine trees. My only gripe was the WiFi as it was beyond slow. Even the desktop in the office is not exactly warp speed. Beautiful viewpoints, comfortable bed, full kitchen, easy parking. If you are upstairs in back lot, you do need to carry luggage upstairs. However, I would definitely stay here again."

"Skamania Lodge is a gem — and especially appealing for those of us less than an hour away in Portland. Dining is exceptional and fairly priced, the pool and hot tubs are accessible and the view of the Columbia Gorge is spectacular."
Carson Hot Springs Resort

"This is a good place to stay. What keeps it from being great is it could use some updating- beds were just okay, soaking rooms could use a deep clean and dusting. Lack of food at the resort is other reason. Pros are the large hot tub with cold plunge (a cracked window would be great because it’s pretty humid in room). The area is so beautiful too- lots of outdoor hiking available nearby."

"Such a cute comfortable place. Very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Hot tub was wonderful. Would definitely rebook again if in the area."

"Wonderful stay. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Grounds are lovely with areas that have views of Hood River. Both housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and professional. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
