"This is a nice place in a beautiful location. If you're going to visit the Gorge, this is the nicest hotel around. They have some cool activities nearby and it's close enough for an easy drive out to the national forest."

"This is a good place to stay. What keeps it from being great is it could use some updating- beds were just okay, soaking rooms could use a deep clean and dusting. Lack of food at the resort is other reason. Pros are the large hot tub with cold plunge (a cracked window would be great because it’s pretty humid in room). The area is so beautiful too- lots of outdoor hiking available nearby."

"Beautiful setting overlooking the Columbia River. Great breakfast in their restaurant next door with tables overlooking the river and railroads. We've stayed here before and will stay again."

"A quiet little place with individual cabins away from, but still close by, the tourist attractions. Nice spacious bathroom. We followed the check-in clerk's restaurant recommendation and we were glad we did (Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant inside the park)."

"This cabin is so cute! The pictures on VRBO are a very good representation of the place. It is decorated with great taste, it has everything you need and some. The bed is very comfortable. It is clean. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere in the woods but you can get to civilization in 5 min drive. What I like also is the attention to details, not only for the decor and comfort, but also little things like wonderful body lotions and shampoo that smell heavenly. The host is very responsive if you have any questions. The fire pit outside is awesome, we even had a deer come check us out while we were sitting outside. The river is close by just a couple of minutes walk, you can hear it as you sit outside. It is comfortable, romantic and relaxing. One of my new favorite places on Earth. Will definitely comeback!"

"I loved this hotel, the decor is so charming and makes you feel like you went back in time. Be sure and take the short walk down to the river and enjoy the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I recommend the Columbia River Gorge Museum in town as well."
