"With the poor score on communication, it wasn't explained that the reception would be closed at 1pm Saturday and Sunday. We had an email asking us what time would we be there - we said before 3-4pm.
On arrival we went early and filled out the check in and stored bags, advised we would get a call when the room was ready but no call. Only to come back at 3pm to find we were locked out and needed to contact afterhours and give informaiton about our stay to someone on the phone. Recommend this...
"Staying at the Dorchester on the Beach was an excellent choice for our three night family getaway. The location was amazing - looking straight out across the ocean we could see and hear the ocean from both balconies. Three roomy bedrooms and three toilets and bathrooms were most appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and the laundry was clean with a new front loading washer and dryer.
Even though the reception was rarely open, the after hours check in was seamless and...
