The room "York Theatre" was very well appointed with everything you'd need. Good size with a large en-suite and a lovely comfy bed. I'd definitely recommend staying here. "

"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. "I think the location is great. It’s close to the train station and the city center. Easy to walk to and from town. The breakfast was good, the staff is very friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and come back if I go back to York in the future."

"Two night stay, very nice room comfiest bed we've slept in for ages. Michal was very attentive even though he was kept busy a lot of the time. Easy 10min walk to city centre & on site parking. Little bit of noise. Ate breakfast once, good value & nice ingredients, could have been a little warmer & would have preferred freshly grilled tomatoes rather than tinned ones.
