We decided on Wengen for its charm, size, reviews & also needed a place to sleep 6 with a washer and modest kitchen. We chose this home due to all of that. It does state in the description it is far from the train station and that it is! You must or I'd highly recommend a taxi to and from the train station with your luggage. The views however are AMAZING adhering the cows with their bells was music to...

"This was the most wonderful house to stay in - beautiful authentic Swiss Alpine architecture but with all the modern amenities one could need. Comfortable and spacious. Unrivalled access to Schilthorn gondola for getting into the queue first thing! Excellent proximity to Lauterbrunnen town and station for mountain excursions. Can’t speak highly enough of this amazing place! Can’t wait to come back."

"Although this was in the information it was hard to experience (After a long day driving) that you have to carry all you luggage 35 m uphill. The house is very well equipped and nice located. The owner was helpfull and has arranged a cable car-pass for us which we used many times last week."

"The cottage is a bit outside the village, but the walk is definitely worthed because the view of the valley and the surrounding moutains form the balcony is just breath taking. Cottage is well equiped and the preordering of groceries is a nice touch."

The common statement by friends when they see the pictures is “that doesn’t look real”. It didn’t look real when I was standing outside looking at the mountains and waterfalls from the property either. The pictures don’t do it justice."
