"We have just come back from an absolutely perfect 2 night stay in Laurel Pod. The farm is beautiful, the hot tub and pod are private and secluded. Self check in is flawless with easy to follow Instructions. The pod is well equipped with everything you could need including a stand for a small disposable barbecue. Excellent place very close to Ormskirk. We will be staying again."

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
