"We loved the cottage. The garden was great for the dogs and the cottage was pretty. We were looking for somewhere remote and away from the rush and pressure of life and this was perfect. There are lots of lovely places to go or just relax in the garden or summerhouse. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom really beautiful. It was easy to cook for meals in the cottage and there a shops a short drive away. The owners were lovely - really kind and going the extra mile."

"We had a wonderful weekend at Cleve Cottage! The house is so beautifully decorated, it felt like staying in a boutique hotel but with all the comforts of home. Positioned in the prettiest part of Lewes and within walking distance of the high street and train station we could not fault the location, we were worried about the lack of parking but the owners left us parking permits and getting parked near the house was never a problem. "A beautiful place to stay in. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculate and stylish. The view up to Beacon Hill was amazing and the surrounding countryside reminded you of how England should look. The hosts Eileen & Chris were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely stay there again. Ditchling is fascinating with period houses it’s steeped in history. A tip you must have an afternoon tea at the Nutmeg Tree tea room."

"Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very well equipped and the hosts Caroline and Neil were very welcoming. The comments in the visitors book showed that many people have visited here several times and feel it’s the best holiday home they have stayed in. The location is very quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area."
