Loved our stay here! When we arrived Sam, at the front desk, helped us get settled straight away. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station but you cannot hear trains pass. We got a room over looking the river which was very relaxing. The breakfast, which was included, was great!

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

This is an excellent hotel for its price point! I felt like I got a lot of value for what I paid. The rooms are clean though no frills. The staff is helpful and attentive. The spa was clean and nice, although it is only open for four hours in the evenings. If you are used to some of the more premium hotel/spas in the Berchtesgaden area, you won’t be impressed. I highly recommend this villa when staying in Upper Bavaria because of location, amenities, shower, room, breakfast, safety, cleanliness, and the owner. Sebastian and his wife were nice and super friendly. Sebastian was very responsive and he gave me all these recommendations where to eat and hike. The villa is close to train and bus stations. Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.

I thought I was booking an inexpensive hotel conveniently located near the highway. This place far exceeded my expectations: this hotel could be a destination in itself. The swimming pools (in and out), the grounds, the decor (handcrafted, unusual furniture).....and the breakfast! Fabulous.
