One of our favorite surprises was the charming Icelandic horses at the fence from the neighboring farm – we got some wonderful photos of these beautiful creatures. The food was wonderful throughout our stay. Breakfast provided everything we needed to start our days of adventure, and the four-course dinners each evening were truly memorable. We can't recommend Torfhus Retreat highly enough for anyone planning to explore Iceland's Golden Circle."
