"Recieved check in information very timely without prompting. It's right off the main road and a great view across the street. If you are a light sleeper it may be difficult for you to find some rest, but we used this location to start off the end of the south coast and start of the golden circle and it was perfect. Bigger than expected and very clean."

"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

We chose this house and cabins for its idyllic setting and it was a wonderful place to relax after a busy schedule.The cabins were much nicer than I expected. They are close to the house and have plenty of outlets. They could have used blackout curtains as our stay was in June. The master bedroom was great. "We had a fantastic time during our stay. Me and my partner and our two college-aged kids had plenty of room in this small house. we enjoyed the bbq, eating on the deck and the hot tub. we cooked each night and there was adequate cookware. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations to see the area. Perfect spot to tour the Golden Circle and a short drive to Selfoss.
