Swiss Mountain Village

"There were construction cones next to our unit so we had to park in front of the propane tank otherwise cars passing by wouldn’t have made it through. Finding the dumpster was difficult and only one way in. We had to scrub the mold and black stuff with a toilet brush in order to get the upstairs bathroom sink clean enough to use. Ed only stayed one night so we didn’t ale advantage of sitting out on the deck on the lake. Check in was easy."

"Light bulb is out on the bedside table. NBD but wanted staff to know to fix for the next occupant. Not many electrical outlets if you have a lot of plug ins. Shower was nice. Loved the flowers in the boxes in front of each room, the personal parking spot and the proximity to everything in town. Blowing Rock is a cute little town. Would stay here again."

"The Inn is wonderful, great rooms. The online check in system didn’t do both parts so we got in late and needed to get registration help. Very dark and a bit challenging to find the sister location. It all worked out just fine."
Chetola Premier Condominiums

"Our stay at Chetola was wonderful. The townhouse we rented was spotless, spatious, well stocked and so comfortable. You can’t ask for a better location as it is so close to Blowing Rock, Boone, the Parkway and more. I love this property. Chetola is so old school and everyone that works there is so so friendly and helpful. My only complaint, and the reason for my 4 star rating rather than 5 is we could hear a good bit of noise from the people who were renting below us. I was a bit surprised by that because the property seems well built. Other than that, I would say, the rest was wonderful"
