"I needed to get away from the hassle of everyday life and this house was perfect. The location was excellent. Just five minutes from Blowing Rock. I traveled into town several times as there is much to do there. It was also close to lots of hiking trails which I did as well. It was very clean and exactly as described. The view was phenomenal. "The weather was all I had hoped it would be. It’s great to have a place to escape the August heat. The house was equipped with the usual items. We were able to have meals there as we wanted. The location was somewhat peculiar, but it was private and quiet. "

"Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might...

We were having a skiing weekend, and this home was a good distance from the ski resorts to avoid traffic, but close enough to get to them quickly.
