"This house was nearly perfect for our family reunion of 17 people staying at the house and another 10 joining from locally. Everyone loved the space, great for the hot weather, cool inside and with room for all of us. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Many of my family enjoyed the kayaks. The kitchen was spacious with its own table and plenty of dishes and other necessities. There was a small problem with the dishwasher, but it still worked and I was assured it would be fixed. The location was great: good views, quiet, nearby lake and not too far from stores."

"My wife, teen sons and I enjoyed 3 nights in this home. The pool was wonderful in July and didn’t require heating. The kitchen had plenty of pond and pans and dinnerware. On the rainy day, we played in the game room and watched tv in the living room. Window units for AC were great so everyone picked their own sleeping temperatures. We visited the beautiful nearby blue ridge winery and got fresh veggies and eggs ar the nearby farm stand. We would return. "

"The cabin was the perfect size and set up. There are several reasons we would not recommend though: could not find towels so messaged owner-they were still wet in the washing machine and smelled!, carpenter bees swarming at entrance upon arrival-after requesting someone to come out and take care of it multiple timrs-nothing, so you could not sit outside!, the cleaning is not good at all- had to wipe down all surfaces-did share this and sent a picture to owner, and the floors creak-this is not just a creak here and there-this is literally every step you take and at night it seems even louder as you are trying not to wake others! This could be a perfect rental, but...."

"Our family had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. The homeowners have obviously put a LOT of great work into updating the 120 year old house and in turn have created a fabulous balance of a warm historical farmhouse vibe with all the comforts of a modern living space. The many bathrooms are updated with neat, clean tilework and plenty of natural lighting. The first floor offers high ceilings and a smooth open flow from the spacious kitchen all the way through to the dining area and the living/game room, perfect for large family gatherings.I really appreciated the availability of king suites on both of the floors offering options to guests that may have trouble with climbing stairs. The second floor offers three different bedroom options, and two full bathrooms, perfect for traveling with children or multiple families. And while I did not see it in their listing, as a guest traveling with a toddler I was quite impressed with their toddler-friendly amenities. They had a full-sized high chair, a new pack-and-play, a basket of toys, puzzles, and books, and two booster seats. All the provided amenities were clean and new and I enjoyed this thoughtful addition. And finally, the location is absolutely perfect for any group looking for a quiet, country getaway. Every window shares a gorgeous view of Pennsylvania's natural beauty and complements the immersive hideaway vibe while still being only ten minutes from a major grocery store and local restaurants. "

"The property was way better than described. Family friendly, clean and spacious. I LOVED that there was a gym. The kids had their own space to play games and watch movies. Josiah was very friendly and very responsive. He allowed us to check in early as well! "
