"This was a great weekend getaway, such a beautiful place. The cabin was so nice and cozy, this area is peaceful, would love to be there in late fall for the colors. The host was very sweet with all the extras in the cabin, made you feel very much like home. Thank you for everything."

"The inn is absolutely beautiful. Loved the huge front porch with the resident yellow cat, the game/puzzle room, and all the antiques in the hallways. The breakfast that was included was delicious and the dining area is beautiful as well. I was surprised how cool the inn stayed without any air conditioning. The ceiling fan and open windows kept us comfortable all night, even on the 2nd floor in August! The only downside was the mattress in our room - it was extremely firm with not much padding. My daughter is a junior at WCU and I've stayed at several hotels in the area, but this was by far my favorite. I'll definitely be back!"

"We had an enjoyable stay. The views are beautiful and quite peaceful. The home is located near the top of the mountain which adds to the serine and private feeling you get from the home. The host is a very good communicator. His instructions and responses were timely and accurate. The home was clean and stocked."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. From coffee on the large wrap around deck in the morning to evening hot tub soaks it was stocked with everything we needed. We never tired of the view out the windows in the living room. The elevation provided cool evenings and mornings and pleasant temperatures throughout the day. With the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance just minutes away, we hopped on and went up several times in both directions. It is easy to plan trips to another exit/access point and explore the other towns around Waynesville. The farm on the road in has great fresh baked cookies and an assortment of ice-cream. It was a wonderful experience all around!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rushing Creek Cabin near Sylva. Between the secluded location and flowing creek, it was peaceful and relaxing. It was a great location for access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and exploring the national forests in the region. Keep in mind that it is some distance into the city of Sylva so pick up what you need ahead of time, but there is a Dollar General close by if you need just a few things. The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The outdoor balconies, grilling deck, and fire pit are wonderful if you enjoy spending time outside like us. Communication with the owner was fast and helpful with any issues. Hope to return in the future to spend more time exploring the Nantahala River and Pisgah National Forest."

"I cannot imagine not coming back here next year. When I first saw the listing, I said to myself, this is exactly what I have been looking for, and it was. From the decor and ambiance, the hot tub and sauna, the wind in the trees as I ate breakfast on the porch, to the thunderstorm outside while I was curled up on the couch with my book inside, this house was magical. The Host was prompt with replies and very helpful with recommendations. The House is in a great location. It is off a main road but far enough away and up that you feel surrounded by nature yet you are only minutes from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 10-15 minutes from Downtown Waynesville, which has great stores to wander one to the other and delicious food to keep you going. It is also in a central location to visit Asheville, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and numerous other surrounding towns and points of interest. The kitchen is fully stocked and I cooked most of my meals in the house. The king bed was comfortable, not too hard or too soft, the shower water was hot with great pressure, the towels soft and the house is open and airy. I left rested and rejuvenated and looking froward to my next visit. I recommend this house to everyone."
