"The view is spectacular and cabin immaculate. We loved the thoughtful touches like fresh cut flowers and labeling that kept us from seek and find. Captain Tony and Nancy were great with communication and suggestions to make our time there all we wanted it to be. We loved watching the birds, bees, chipmunks and squirrels from the patio while we relaxed and took in the peace. At first the unpaved road up the mountain concerned me in my hybrid Camry but we did just fine even with some rain. So much to do and see nearby, but we found ourselves really just wanting to stay at the cabin and relax in God’s artistry."

"Our trip was wonderful! The cabin was just what we needed--relaxing, private, well stocked, clean and comfortable and was more spectacular than we imagined. The location was very convenient to everything we had planned. The drive to the cabin was on well kept gravel roads. Great communication with the owners, who were so responsive to any question we had. Our family appreciated all the recommendations on places we should put on our list to see and places to eat. The cabin had everything we needed--with good space for everyone. The outside deck was a hit and listening to the rushing water of the creek was incredible--a great place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The owners said the cabin was a special cabin and that was absolutely true. Our family highly recommends this cabin and we are very appreciative of the owners for allowing us to stay and enjoy it."

"There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful of a host Dominique is! Unfortunately, the Dancing Bear cabin I had booked sustained damage due to the recent storms and she not only communicated this promptly but also made sure we were able to stay in another cabin instead of canceling. The Angler cabin was exceptional. Very clean and extremely cozy with all the comforts. She even went above and beyond providing a welcome package and Birthday balloons as a surprise for my friend who was traveling with me! I HIGHLY Recommend booking with her. 5 stars isn't enough, she deserves a gold medal I definitely hope to be able to visit again 朗"

"We can’t say enough good things about Mountain Time! This is our third time staying here, and I believe it gets better each time!The cabin is impeccably clean! Kudos to housekeeper Angie! Be sure to leave her a nice tip when you stay. We sincerely appreciated the “little things”, such as paper towels, coffee pods, laundry supplies, Q-tips, tissues, and a little bowl of snacks! And of course the kitchen is well stocked. The decor is gorgeous, the setting is peaceful, and the whole vibe is just perfection. Mike is the ultimate host! Perfect communication. I’m sad to leave this morning, but hopeful that we’ll be back next year for a longer stay!"

"It’s a bit of a trek to get to the house but it’s very much worth it/what it takes to be this far from human development. My sedan handled the road up no problem. We went in July and were perfectly comfortable without AC—we had to pay a little attention to opening/closing windows but it’s worth the effort.This places feels special. A big, comfy house set in delightfully secluded mountains. Miles of views, a huge garden with flowerbeds and hundreds of butterflies/bumblebees, no traffic in earshot but a waterfall close by that you can hear. We’ve stayed at a dozen or so mountain houses in WNC and this is the first one that we plan on coming back to."
