"This was an adorable, perfect getaway for my husband and I. We didn't need a lot, because of our interest in doing nature walk and be out for most of the day so the lack of kitchen wasn't a problem. The coffee, snacks, drinks in the fridge were appreciated a ton. The cabin was so cute and the whole process was very smooth."

"Storybook setting! We could hear the water flowing as soon as you open the car door. There is a constant breeze blowing from multiple waterfalls in the creek. Beautiful clean home with lovely mountain decor. Would recommend arriving before dark if possible due to long twisty gravel road but definitely worth the trip once you arrive at the cabin. There’s activities to do for all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We chose this cabin for the secluded location, and loved everything about it! We made great use of the firepit each evening and the front porch each morning. The beds were very comfortable! And while we didn’t use the sofa bed we have slept on that style before and know it would be comfortable for additional guests. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Including a variety of spices and oils. We didn’t venture far beyond Maggie Valley and Cherokee. And sightseeing in between. And we were always glad to return to the relaxing cabin. A big shout out to “The Old Gray Mare”. A nearby country market for fresh produce, eggs, cheese, and meat. We hope to return to Maggie’s Song in the future."

"We enjoyed a few days in this very secluded, peaceful cabin. It was clean with plenty of space to relax. We spent most of our time sitting on the porch, relaxing. We also enjoyed shooting pool and appreciated all the equipment provided. The drive up the mountain to the cabin can be quite rough; it’s bumpy with many twists and turns. Once you pass the metal gate next to a power pole, be prepared—this driveway is no joke. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for this reason. Our car is a 2-wheel drive, and we managed to make it up. Just keep your hands on the steering wheel and go for it! Each time we arrived, it felt like we were getting off an amusement park ride. If you are looking for mountain views, this cabin may not be the best choice, as you are surrounded by trees instead. However, it is incredibly quiet and serene, which we loved! We would definitely stay here again. The host did a fantastic job of communicating with us throughout our stay. Thank you for sharing your mountain home!"

"It’s MUCH prettier than the pics. The creek is beautiful falling down the mountainside. It’s a darn near perfect, isolated setting just outside of town. Easy road to property. The only drawback we found is that you have to take trash with you. I’ve never heard of this before and I have traveled a lot. The trash dumping options are miles away and in the opposite direction of where we were heading. If the trash issue was resolved, this place would be absolutely perfect in every way."
