Staff from the get go were spot on, food excellent, service excellent. Staff gave good and reliable evaluations of places to eat. When they could decide or find a restaurant to serve a traditional Irish meal, the staff had the chef make one for us. It was a perfect meal and perfect setting. Close to city center, and shopping close by, attractions and golf close by.

An unbelievably pleasant stay. Derg Arms was a half way stop for me as I was traveling between Sligo and the north coast of Ireland. For a really good nightly rate i got a well maintained, clean room and a fantastic free breakfast in the morning
The entire staff and owner were beyond accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling.

We'd had a miserable time. Couldn't get the phone or credit cards to work first two days. Came down sick the next two days. Finally got up to Donegal, the home region of my O'Donnell relatives, and decided we couldn't get back to Dublin. Asked Expedia. Saw bargain. Grabbed bargain. Found out it was not just an hour away, but in Northern Ireland. Cursed Expedia.
Drove over. Wonderful gentleman named John. Huge bed, big room, great view. Exquisite dinner. Low price. (Remember you're paying...
