The Bull Hotel
8/10 Good
"The lady who checked us in was pleasant, polite and helpful. Rescuing me when I couldn't find our room. Signage to our room number would have been an advantage. The building is old, so no lift. We had a room on the top floor. The toilet was slow to fill, which eventually stopped working by the morning. The shower had great pressure, but no cold water to cool it down, so could be dangerous. We reported both at reception the next morning. Good size room and comfy bed. Bikes felt safe left in car park. No breakfast included, so used the pink cafe across the road. No food being served the night before as a party booked. Plenty of take a way places to choose from in the town. Staff when we left were not as conscious as the lady the previous evening."

Ty Fferam Bailey: 7‑Bed Farmhouse Sleeping 14 in Bodorgan | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings

"Thank you again! (I have been to Ty Fferam Bailey twice before with another group of friends and we are booked in again this September.) We love the house and continue to find wonderful things to do on the island!"

Owain’s Lake View : Pet-Friendly 1‑Bed Lakeside Apartment with Maelog Lake Views | Managed by Angles
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was bigger inside than expected. Light, airy and well equipped for all our needs. There were books, games and dvds in the drawers, we didn't know beforehand so brought our own. The views and sunsets were wonderful and watching the planes from RAF Valley was like having your own private airshow! Lots of songbirds to see and hear and frogs and toads in the pond by the patio. There are some lovely walks through the meadow and around the lake, Rhosneigr is around 30 mins on foot. Due to heatwave and husband recovering from hip replacement didn't get out as much as we'd have liked but the smart TV had lots of available channels and a lovely picture and there is a combined TV dvd player in the bedroom. The beds are extremely comfortable.too. We took our own tower fan and the owners had provided a fan and came with a second towards the end of our stay. The Anglesey Lettings team have been extremely friendly, helpful and efficient before and during our stay. We had a problem with the folding doors and a member of the team were on site and fixed it straightaway. The only downside was that the outside area needs a lot of TLC, which we were already aware of from another review, but is not as secure as we thought, one of our dogs ended up in the pond several times and they both managed to get through into the garden of the neighbouring property! We understand from talking to a team member that the outside area is going to be tackled later in the season. Had the outside area been in better condition we would have given the property a five. We do hope to go back one day when the garden has been updated and secured as it was so lovely."

Bryn Bach: Romantic 1-Bed Cottage with Hot Tub in Llanfaelog | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
8/10 Good
"The positives, in a very quiet location if that’s what you’re looking for. A reasonably well equipped kitchen for your most basic needs. The welcome pack was appreciated containing milk, eggs apple juice teabags and biscuits. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that. The king size bed was fairly comfortable, the come the negatives, the pillows were terrible, disintegrating and offering no support. The large leather sofa was also in a similar dilapidated state and was again well past its best! Bathroom, I noticed by the 3rd day of our stay the water was struggling to drain after a shower, it continued to drain less and less as the week went on,so it was left soapy and slimy after we’d showered each time. I did email to report this issue. Generally the whole accom needs a deep clean and decorating to bring it back up to a reasonable standard. Even the blind on the door was broken and damaged on the bottom half. Given some attention this could be 5* accom but at the moment I would only be scoring it a 3 at best. It’s about 15 mins walk across the field to the Oyster catcher, and then another 6 or 7 mins into Rhosneiger."
