"Check-in was very easy. Most of the staff speak English well. The room was spacious, however the windows did not open and the room would get very damp. This was the only real downside. Room service and the restaurant were excellent with friendly staff. It was easy to work in the restaurant area in between meal times and WiFi was generally reliable. "If we had visited this hotel in 1976, we would have been impressed with its style and decor. That said, it was clean and it was on a great location next to the Botanical gardens. There is a shopping mall nearby, too, but getting to it involves a perilous crossing of a busy road where vehicles are out to kill. Not bad, overall, just a bit dated. "
