The staff was super nice and always taking care of us. Unfortunately the hotel rooms are not in a very good shape, the sheets of our bed where stain, the pillows were super flat and I didn’t feel that comfortable with the cleaning. The location was good if you are going to the American Embassy because you can walk but besides that is not very close to all the main tourist things.

US Embassy visit

Good hotel and friendly staff. I paid hotel on hotel.com app and they charged me extra stating taxes were not paid. First time I experienced that situation. I paid the tax because it was short stay and had no time to dispute. They should advertise at hotel that extra fee will be charged for tax at checkin. Overall good place and short wake to US Embassy

Overall, Ayenda 1024 Agora Inn was decent for a basic stay in Bogotá. The Positives Strict Security: The hotel takes security very seriously. The front door remains locked, so you have to ring a bell to be let in by staff each time, which provided great peace of mind. Adequate Rooms: The room itself was fine—nothing fancy or special, but clean and functional enough for what we needed. The Negatives Terrible Pillows: The pillows were easily the worst part of the stay—hands down the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever had at a hotel. Strict Visitor Policy: Visitors are not permitted in the guest rooms under any circumstances. We had a couple of people drop by, but we were required to stay in the lobby area with them. Inconsistent Water Pressure: If anyone else in the building is taking a shower, the water pressure drops to basically nothing. Fortunately, this only impacted us on our final morning. Extra Person Fee: We ended up having our son stay with us for just one night. Even though the room already had enough existing beds to accommodate him and he didn't eat breakfast, they tacked on a $16 extra guest charge for that night. Underwhelming Breakfast: Breakfast technically matched the basic description provided, but it was underwhelming. We tried an egg on one day, but ended up opting out and eating elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Tipping: Upon checkout, the attendant asked for a tip.
