"The hotel was easy enough to find with a GPS. Parking was in the back. The couple running it were in Paris at the time of my check in (I making the reservations two days out probably didn't help), but they made sure I was able to get in and get to my room. Room was clean and good size, shower was large. Heater worked. It is a bit outside the city, and you most likely will need a car to get there, but free parking as opposed to all the hotels downtown Hasselt that charged 15-30 euro a night...

"We hebben met 5 mensen overnacht bij Elle Belle. Er is over alles nagedacht in het huis. Het was volledig inorde. Bij aankomst stonden de lichtjes en muziek al aan dus dit maakte het nog gezelliger. We hebben er van genoten en we hebben goed geslapen!"

"The place was a little hard to find, though not that far from Maastricht where we were attending the antique fair. The major problem was that this is in the winter and the heating was out of order. Two portable heaters were installed in the suite but one turned the electricity down when you wanted to use it. The lady we spoke to on the phone said she would come and fix it but never did. "We absolutely loved this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right where the Netherlands meets Belgium, it’s truly special. What made our stay wonderful was the staff – everyone, from the hotel team to the restaurant crew, was so warm and kind. They made us feel right at home! On our very first day, we were treated to a magical double rainbow over the riverbank across from the hotel. It felt like such a lucky, happy moment! And our room had this lovely telescope – at night, we even spotted a shooting star glide past the Big Dipper. Just beautiful! The room itself was super cozy, and the restaurant? Oh, their sauces were incredible! We still can’t stop thinking about them – so tasty and expertly made. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming and full of lovely surprises, this is it. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!"
