"The accommodation was more of a B&B with convenient location and nice hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast in the dining area was nice with some locally sourced ingredients and the hosts were helpful giving us tips what to see, offering us to use the kitchen fridge if we needed it etc. We used the Park and Ride car park in the city which has a free regular bus to the centre and the car park itself is well priced. "The hotel was easy enough to find with a GPS. Parking was in the back. The couple running it were in Paris at the time of my check in (I making the reservations two days out probably didn't help), but they made sure I was able to get in and get to my room. Room was clean and good size, shower was large. Heater worked. It is a bit outside the city, and you most likely will need a car to get there, but free parking as opposed to all the hotels downtown Hasselt that charged 15-30 euro a night...
