"Clean room delicious dinner friendly staff"

"Wow! What a hotel, from the moment we arrived at the hotel to when we left, everything was superb. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much for them, greeting you at the door and collecting your luggage, parking your car, a hello and a smile from everyone you met. Our room was excellent, large comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a loo that lifted its own lid and had a heated seat, which my wife thought was wonderful! The restaurant we had dinner in, Fletchers, was excellent. The food was cooked and presented beautifully. Breakfast again was excellent, all local produce cooked to perfection. We had an afternoon in the Spa which was great, well equipped with pools, saunas, Jacuzzi and even a snow room for the brave! For a treat we enjoyed a full body massage each from two well trained masseur’s which we thoroughly enjoyed. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully manicured and clean with plenty of room for a walk among the 30 acres of grounds. This is a hotel we will definitely return too in the future."

"Amazing weekend break away with family members attending a family wedding. The hotel was welcoming, with enthusiastic and friendly staff. A great location to stay for our purposes, but would gladly return in future if needing to stay in the area."

"Lovely hotel in a great area. Nice friendly staff and breakfast was decent. We stayed in a classic double room as that was the only one available however it was definitely adequate, the bed was very comfy."

"What a find in a beautiful area. Short trip off the A1 and absolutely stunning pub with rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable clean and has everything you will need for a good stay. Dinner was really tasty. Didn’t stop for breakfast but can only imagine how nice it would be. Would definitely recommend and would stay next time I am in the area "
